Six Blasting units are allotted to this office by state Goverment to carry out to the deepening of agricultural, drinking water wells, irrigation dam work, road cutting work, quarries etc, at the rate of Rs.45/- per shot hole, approved by Government of Maharashtra. |

| One 4” D.T.H. Rig is allotted to this office for carring out the work of test bores for water supply schemes, flushing and cleaning of bore wells. The Govt approved rate for this work is as under. |

- 115 mm dia, drilling Rs. 190/- per meter
- Flushing of bore wells Rs. 650/- per hour and Rs. 10/- per km. For Rig transportation

| Repairs & Maintenance of Hand pumps and electric pumps |
| In district, total 4672 Nos. of Hand pumps And 270 Nos. of electric pump fitted on bore wells which are
use for rural drinking water purposes. For carring out the repairs of Hand Pumps, 10 mobile Hand pump repair units are allotted at the panchayat Samiti
level and work is being monitered by this office. Two mobile electric pump repair units are kept at District level and the work of repairing and maintenance of electric are carried out by this office. |
